In the past Chrissie’s designs were mostly influenced by the Art Deco movement but now other artistic influences can be seen in her work as well. The Memphis Art Movement is one of the influences for this Fall season and it visually appears in the Templies heel with it use of bright colors and uniquely design silhouette. Another influence is the Cubist movement but with a twist of street style and the first heel, Alniyat showcases this in a lovely way. In addition to going back to her sculptor roots Ms. Morris always likes to work with stingray and it is used for the Tina heel. Thank you Roger and Federico for the beautiful pictures.
