Finsk Spring'10

Good Evening Everyone, I just wanted to share with you the pictures that I received from Caroline Almgren at Varg Ltd. The inspiration for the 2010 Finsk Spring Collection comes from the 1988 cult French animated film Gandahar by Rene Laloux. Gandahar explores the harmony between natural and man-made creations and Ms. Lundsten achieves this in various ways. Soft leather is mixed with metallic highlights and rubber sole pieces are combined with natural rubber ones to create heels that are very unique and wearable. This theme also reinforces Julia’s dedication to the environment which has been represented since the label’s debut in 2004.
